Two named machines, two different preparations
This comparison is the JURA E8 Gen 4 Piano Black NAC and the Breville Barista Express BES870, not every machine either company sells. The E8 prepares drinks through an internal automatic workflow; the BES870 asks you to prepare a portafilter and texture milk manually. First decide whether you want that work before comparing individual controls.

Automatic milk does not eliminate care
The E8 NAC manual includes milk-pipe rinsing and milk-system maintenance; its program does not mean that the owner has no daily tasks. The BES870 has a different routine around the basket, portafilter and wand. Read the relevant care section, price its supplies and decide who performs the work.
Ask a seller to demonstrate the whole milk routine, including cleanup after the final drink, so you can compare the work involved each day.

The price difference should be compared with what it buys in your routine, not justified by an invented number of minutes saved or years of life. Put one-off equipment costs and recurring supplies on separate lines.
Which route fits your household?
Choose the automatic route for its preparation workflow only if the people using it accept its cleaning tasks and drink options. Consider the portafilter route if making and adjusting the shot is part of what you want. If several people share it, ask each to prepare the usual drink during a demonstration rather than letting one enthusiast stand in for everyone.
Before paying, record one reason the machine fits and one limitation you accept. If you cannot name the limitation, the comparison is probably still a feature list.
